Carrie has worked in eco-tourism for many years — as a dive master and whale watch guide on Maui, a kayak guide and windsurfing instructor in Mexico and finally a homeschool teacher in Texas, teaching her son and other children using a nature-based curriculum. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of the local environment while on the paddling trail.
